Shannon Ackerman

With more than 30 years of experience across the construction industry, Shannon Ackerman brings extensive real-world knowledge and leadership to his role as Construction Director at Prekaro Projects. Beginning his career as a carpenter, he has built a broad track record across residential, commercial, industrial and government sectors.

Shannon oversees Prekaro Projects' delivery teams, drawing on experience across the full project lifecycle, from early site planning and stakeholder engagement through to delivery and handover. In 2017, he received the Queensland State Master Builders Award, recognising his commitment to quality and contribution to the industry.

At the core of Shannon's approach is a commitment to craftsmanship and people. He works closely with clients, consultants and subcontractors to maintain program, budget and quality outcomes, while investing in the growth and capability of his site teams. Through his leadership, Prekaro Projects' culture of integrity, safety and excellence is upheld across every project.
